About the Program

This is a timely presentation regarding the fraud, scams, and exploitation that frequently target our clients, especially the older adult population. These schemes are sometimes seemingly innocuous and may even be perpetrated by persons closest to the unsuspecting victim, including financial advisors, family members, or someone seeking romantic involvement.  As attorneys, we are often consulted to find solutions for the consequences of the abuse experienced by older adults.

You Will Learn

Types of abuse and financial exploitation experienced by older adults
How to recognize abuse and exploitation
Steps to prevent exploitation and options for reporting abuse resulting from cams and fraud

Who Should Attend

This presentation will be helpful to all attorneys, especially those who have a friend or family member who is older, as well as those who represent our older population; including, but not limited to, trusts & estates attorneys and elder law attorneys.
