About the Program

This seminar will equip attorneys with knowledge and strategies of bankruptcy appellate practice. Attendees will learn how to effectively preserve issues for appeal and ensure a complete and accurate record, identify which bankruptcy court orders are subject to immediate appeal, and navigate the appellate process across multiple tribunals—including district courts, bankruptcy appellate panels, circuit courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. This program will also cover aspects of stays pending appeal and mootness and offers practical guidance for developing persuasive and effective bankruptcy appellate advocacy.
