About the Program

This talk will provide an accessible overview of AI and how it’s currently impacting the practice of law. We’ll begin with a high-level explanation of what AI is and is not. In addition, we'll discuss the different types of AI techniques most relevant to the legal field, focusing on real-world examples of how firms are already using AI and might use AI in the future. The use of AI also raises important questions for many in the legal profession. For that reason, we’ll also briefly discuss concerns about ethical issues surrounding the use of AI. This talk will be accessible for lawyers at any career stage with significant time allotted for ADCA (Ask-Dr.-Cain-Anything).
