About the Program
The Release-Based Cleanup Regulations became effective March 1, 2026. The long-awaited transition from an environmental cleanup program focused on transactions to one focused on releases has finally been completed. This seminar will cover the basics of the new Release-Based Cleanup Program, as well as its interplay with other environmental reporting and remediation programs in Connecticut and the latest guidance coming out of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection as the new program gets off the ground.

Anyone involved with transactions involving real estate, whether purchase, sale, lending, or refinancing, or advising industrial or commercial operations where environmental contamination may be present.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
