About the Program
As lawyers continue to expand their online presence through their firm marketing or by simply making comments on social media, they must remain cognizant of potential ethical risks. The number of ethical violations stemming from lawyers' online activities continue to rise.
As many lawyers continue to work remotely, law firms and courts alike are faced with additional ethical challenges related to technological competence, client confidentiality, digital marketing, and social media usage. Join this experienced panel of lawyers for a discussion of how not to run afoul of the ethics rules while practicing law in a digital world.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
