About the Program

A great way to finish off the conference with a little bit of fun, this session will test attendees’ knowledge of the Rules of Professional Conduct in the context of two bankruptcy case hypotheticals in a game-show format.  Attendees will be presented with two hypothetical case studies and then answer a series of multiple-choice questions on legal ethics.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers!

About the rules that govern the ethical practice of law in the bankruptcy context
About relevant areas in the field of professional responsibility through the analysis of bankruptcy hypothetical cases
About conflicts of interest in the context of retention of professionals in bankruptcy proceedings and the standards governing the withdrawal of counsel

Attorneys, paralegals, law students, and professionals involved in the bankruptcy practice.

NY: 1.5 CLE Credits (Ethics)

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits. 

Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
