About the Program

This workshop will provide attorneys with practical guidance, based on real world examples, of current speech rights that employees do and do not have in the workplace.  The workshop will cover the primary protected speech categories; when an employee’s speech cannot be restricted, including social media; and off duty political activity.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
