About the Program

This panel will explore the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as a means to resolve matters with a particular focus on bankruptcy cases and will focus on providing practical insight and information for practitioners. Discussion will include available ADR resources, the selection of mediators, addressing questions of good faith and confidentiality, as well as a focus on how counsel should prepare their papers and their client for a productive mediation.

About use of mediation in the bankruptcy context and how this form of ADR can be a helpful tool for addressing disputes if understood and managed properly
About preparing cases and clients to create a pathway to have a productive mediation
