About the Program

Professor Akhil Amar, one of our nation’s leading voices on constitutional scholarship, joins us for a deep dive into the changes we are seeing to legal norms as a new presidential administration seeks to leave its imprint.  With a deep grounding in our nation’s history and the text of its founding documents, Professor Amar examines how the policy actions we are seeing now conform in some ways and depart in others from recent trends in understanding executive power, and the role they play in shaping how our society understands the Constitution today.
