About the Program
Generative artificial intelligence is transforming the practice of law, offering powerful tools that enhance efficiency, research, contract review, litigation strategy, and client service. With these opportunities come critical questions about reliability, practical use and policy implications. This session will provide an in-depth look at AI tools available to lawyers today, including legal research platforms, document automation, client-facing AI solutions, and more.
Practitioners will demonstrate available AI tools for use in your practice, discuss best practices for integrating AI into legal workflows, and address key policy considerations for your practice. Attendees will gain insights into available tools, policy considerations, and professional responsibility considerations affecting AI adoption in the legal industry. Whether you are an AI novice or already experimenting with these tools, whether you are at a larger firm or small firm or solo practitioner, this session will equip you with the knowledge to navigate the AI landscape professionally and effectively.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
