About the Program

Over the last 70 years, AI usage has greatly shifted from primarily research and government purposes, to now aiding everyday citizens with minor tasks. Without proper regulation and supervision of public access to AI systems, there's been a domino effect resulting in both positive and harmful impacts in our society.
This seminar will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the ethical considerations involved in developing and deploying artificial intelligence technologies. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into various industries and aspects of our lives, recognizing and addressing the ethical implications is paramount.

You Will Learn

An overview of ethical challenges in AI, including bias, transparency, and accountability in automated decision-making
Legal ethics implications under ABA Model Rules and Connecticut Rules of Professional Conduct
Strategies for lawyers to navigate ethical risks, ensure responsible AI use, and maintain professional integrity in AI-assisted legal work

Who Should Attend
