About the Program

This talk will be presented in a debate style point-counterpoint and focus around two central themes in the area of CGS §§31-308(a) and 31-308a temporary partial disability benefits: 1) The propriety and utility of job searches 100+ years after the statute was written, and 2) the medical legal dichotomy that exists between certain terminologies that create confusion in the determination of precisely what benefit category an injured worker falls into.  The presentation will include discussion regarding a modern-day approach to job search and how we can best improve our system by addressing a vision of job searching for the current and future employment seeking populous.
