The Real Property/Environmental Law Track

Presented by the Environmental Law Section

About the Program

Ethical issues present themselves in all areas of law. This program will focus on ethical issues that arise in commercial real estate transactions. You will hear from attorneys discussing both environmental and lender ethical responsibilities and a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) discussing the ethical responsibilities when conducting environmental investigations related to commercial transactions. Join us as we review actual situations that lawyers and LEPs have found themselves facing.

You Will Learn

  • The basic makeup of a commercial real estate transaction
  • The potential conflicts that can arise in commercial real estate transactions
  • How focus differs among real estate attorneys, lender attorneys, and LEPs
