Do you want to make a difference in the legal profession? Becoming a leader of the Connecticut Bar Association can be a highly rewarding experience. CBA members are encouraged to submit their own names or names of other CBA members who may have an interest in serving as an officer of the association.
We are currently looking to fill the positions of vice president, secretary, treasurer, and assistant secretary-treasurer for the 2025-2026 bar year.
The position of vice president must be filled in this next year by a nominee who is registered within the CBA from New Haven County (House of Delegates Districts 7, 9, and 10) as of March 1, 2024, in accordance with the CBA Constitution, and its policy of geographically rotating the president's track position. View the map of CBA House of Delegates Districts. The vice president traditionally advances to president-elect and to president.
Each nominated name should be accompanied by a biographical sketch or resume detailing participation in activities, including CBA governance, such as membership on the House of Delegates, Board of Governors, sections, and/or committees; involvement with local, affinity, or specialty bar associations; and volunteer and community activities, particularly those related to the practice of law such as pro bono service, service on judicial panels and commissions, and services on standing committees.
Send proposed names to the Nominating Committee chair, Anthony Minchella at officernominations@ctbar.org or mail in an envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL" to:
