William Bohonnon will receive The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award at the CBA’s annual awards celebration, Celebrate with the Stars, on Thursday, April 8. He is currently an associate at Halloran Sage, where he counsels clients and litigates matters in the areas of commercial, bodily injury, employment, and insurance coverage law.
Attorney Bohonnon is being honored for his pro bono work through the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC). He has dedicated himself to Connecticut's most vulnerable veterans facing immediate homelessness through the eviction process and has gone above and beyond, embracing the organization’s medical-legal partnership model to provide quality legal services on behalf of veterans.
The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award recognizes CBA members who demonstrated dedication to the provision of legal services without expectation of payment to those in need. He is one of four attorneys receiving the award this year.
