On May 19, members of the CBA gathered at The Truck Bar in Berlin for a fundraiser hosted by the Connecticut Bar Association’s Civics Education Committee to support the Ralph J. Monaco Memorial Civics Education Fund (Monaco Memorial Fund). Through ticket sales and support from sponsors over $8000 was raised to support the Monaco Memorial Fund.

The Connecticut Bar Association Civics Education Committee held its annual Law Day Ceremony at the Connecticut Appellate Court on May 7. During the event, the annual Ralph J. Monaco Memorial Civics Education Awards were presented to six Connecticut High School students.

Equestrian and Therapeutic Center in Hartford, the event invited legal professionals and law students of all experience levels to take a break from their daily routines and participate in a line dancing lesson.
