During the week of July 6, the Connecticut Bar Association welcomed high school students to its 2026 Law Camp, a week-long program designed to introduce participating students to the legal profession through interactive educational sessions, hands-on advocacy training, and a mock trial competition.

Connecticut Bar Association members, along with their families and friends, gathered at Hartford's Dunkin' Park on June 28 for the CBA's Day at the Ballpark event, enjoying an afternoon of baseball, great food, and family-friendly fun.

On June 15, Governor Ned Lamont announced his nomination of Connecticut Appellate Court Chief Judge Melanie L. Cradle for the forthcoming vacant associate justice seat on the Connecticut Supreme Court. Governor Lamont also announced that he has nominated Connecticut Superior Court Judge W. Glen Pierson to fill the vacancy on the Appellate Court that will be created by Judge Cradle’s elevation to the Supreme Court.
