About the Program

An informational and interactive presentation that will explore the health risk factors associated with the Legal Profession. Specifically, exploring the personality types, life styles, and demands associated with practicing law.  Physical, emotional, and mental health warning signs will be identified and corresponding wellness action steps will be presented. Participants will experience the Stages of Change Model as well as Stress Reduction & Relaxation Techniques. The presentation will culminate with participants developing an individualized Wellness Care Plan.

 

Program Objectives

• Participants will be able to identify the prevalent health risk factors associated with their profession 
• Participants will be able to recognize the 7 key factors impacting their physical, emotional, and mental health 
• Participants will identify the Stages of Change process and apply the process to their individual goals
• Participants will identify 5 strategies for reduction of stress/anxiety
• Participants will identify 3 specific individualized relaxation techniques
• Participants will have the opportunity to develop an individualized Wellness Care Plan
