About the Program
Want to grow as an attorney and leader in the profession? Gather together with young lawyers from throughout the Northeast region to network, develop knowledge, and skills as you journey up the legal and leadership ladder. On Thursday, September 21st, the conference will kick off with a reception. On Friday, September 22nd, you will learn from a legal twitter influencer and parenting podcaster, and a digital marketing wiz, blogger, author and trial attorney about the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage social media effectively. Dr. Cain Elliott, head legal futurist at Filevine will present on everything we wanted to know about AI and the law. Rounding out the day on Friday will be a moderated panel of three attorneys discussing their journeys as corporate and in-house counsel and bar leaders. On Saturday, September 23rd, a moderated panel of four attorneys will deliver on alternative pathways to civic engagement and bar leadership. “Decisions are made by those who show up.” Professor Larry Dickson will complete the educational programming on Saturday with an interactive presentation on balancing wellness with the scales of justice.
