The AI Track

Presented by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section

About the Program

Arbitration and Mediation are intended to make the resolution of disputes faster, fairer, and more efficient. This program will address the potential benefits of using Artificial Intelligence to fulfill those goals. But, it will also look at the practical and ethical risks of using these tools to perform traditionally human tasks in dispute resolution. The ultimate question – will AI ever take over the Arbitrator’s job?

The panel, which includes ethics counsel, information specialists, and a representative of the leading ADR institution, will address the upside and downside of merging ADR and AI.
