About the Program
Law practice in the twenty-first century is subject to a growing number of ethical and regulatory requirements. This program will offer guidance to the busy practitioner on meeting professional obligations to clients and the public, and on minimizing the risks of malpractice and disciplinary complaints.
You Will Learn
- About lawyers' ethical responsibilities in communications, and in interactions with opposing counsel
- About ethical considerations in the attorney-client relationship, including engagement agreements, fees, and conflict issues
- About how to comply with IOLTA rules and about random audits
