Program Description:  When the Department of Children and Families (DCF) believes that a parent may have inflicted serious physical harm to a child such as a broken bone, then DCF would file an Order of Temporary Custody seeking the removal of the child from the parents. Parents are entitled to have a hearing within 10 days to challenge the allegations. Could there be other explanations to serious injurious such as a genetic disorder, a medical diagnosis, or could another adult have been responsible. Why expert testimony would be essential in defense of the allegations levied against the parents and would waving the 10 days be in a client’s best interest?

Cost: $38.50
