Program Description
Attorney and storyteller Christopher Kriesen will unmask litigation strategies on effective trial storytelling. You will learn a Legal Storytelling model, how to make a jury empathize with you and your client, and how to guide a jury to a decision in your favor by tapping into universal themes, mythology, and psychology. Attorney Kriesen has previously presented on legal storytelling at regional and national conferences, taught advocacy at the UConn School of Law, and is writing a book on the theory of Legal Storytelling. The talk will be informed by his experience performing at Speak Up events, including before an audience of 500 people at Infinity Hall. Attorney Kriesen has attended the Yale Writers Workshop and is an adherent of the story model of advocacy. Please join us for a captivating evening on the skills of legal storytelling.
