About the Program

This comprehensive seminar is designed to take its attendees from the opening of a real estate file through, and including post-closing matters. Panelists will explore the intricacies of the closing process. Covered matters include: ordering title; the title search and title commitment; legal descriptions and surveys; the Closing Protection Letter; the attorney/client relationship from the commencement of representation; co-tenancies; probate matters; family and bankruptcy issues impacting real estate; an explanation of the title insurance policy including endorsements; and new nationwide trends such as remote notarizations, predictable recording fees, and cyber security issues.
