Program Description

In addition to administering CUTPA, the jurisdiction of the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (“DCP”) includes, e.g., the regulation of food, narcotics and prescription drugs, product safety, weights and measures, occupational licensing, medical marijuana, alcoholic liquor, and gaming. We are privileged that both the Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner of DCP have accepted our invitation to speak to the members of the CBA on DCP’s vital role in protecting the consumers of our state.
