About the Program
This training will help attorneys who provide legal services to veterans with disability and related claims before the Veterans Benefit Administration. We will cover the basics of VA benefits as well as discuss VA decision review, VA claims file review, Legacy v. AMA appeals strategy, and special monthly compensations.
Attorneys accredited previously to practice before the VA must update their training to maintain accreditation. VA regulations require completion of qualifying CLE “during the first 12-month period following the date of initial accreditation by the VA, an additional qualifying CLE within three years after the initial accreditation date, and every two years thereafter." This seminar will provide the required training.
If you are interested in VA Accreditation, visit https://www.va.gov/vaforms/va/pdf/VA21a.pdf to download the application for accreditation (VA Form 21a). Be sure to submit your application before the training. Follow all instructions on the form.
