About the Program
This seminar is directed towards negotiating capitalization rates in tax appeals matters because the vast majority of tax appeals settle. The same principles would be used at trial but with more evidential rigor. Presenters will provide a very interactive forum to learn effective and successful methods to succeed in tax appeals and capitalization rate challenges.
You Will Learn
- Develop an understanding of capitalization rates (cap rate) and how to determine the cap rate and how it impacts the value of a property
- Develop an understanding of computation of net operating income (NOI) and points of contention in determination of NOI
- Develop an understanding of how to attack and defend cap rates
