Navigating Cohabitation Issues in Connecticut Family Law Cases

Sarah Murray is a partner at Broder & Orland LLC, with offices in Westport and Greenwich. Sarah practices exclusively in the area of family law in Connecticut, including both trial and appellate matters. Sarah represents clients in Fairfield County and throughout Connecticut in matters involving all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including divorce, alimony, child support, custody, and division of assets. Program Description
Attorney Murray will discuss relevant case law regarding the modification of alimony in Connecticut on the basis of cohabitation, including takeaways for preparing and presenting a cohabitation case, whether you represent the alimony payor or the alimony recipient. She will also discuss considerations when drafting language in Separation Agreements regarding the modifiability of alimony based on cohabitation.
