About the Program

At least for the next few months, administration of many workers’ compensation claims may involve the use of telemedicine—for treatment, respondents’ medical exams, and Commissioners’ exams. This free webinar explains the basics of how a telemedicine examination is set up, the equipment required, and under what circumstances a telemedicine examination may be appropriate and useful.

You Will Learn

  • The logistics of telemedicine and what medical issues can and cannot be addressed adequately with telemedicine
  • About diagnosis, medication management, post-operative visits, and physical therapy
  • About opinions on reasonableness or necessity of proposed treatment
  • About return to limited or regular work, maximum medical improvement (MMI), and permanent partial disability (PPD)

Who Should Attend

Workers’ compensation practitioners, commissioners and workers’ compensation paralegals, workers’ compensation adjustors and supervisors and nurse case managers, medical practitioners, and their workers’ compensation coordinators.
