Estate Planning

Speaker

Attorney George B. Bickford
East Granby, CT

Attorney Bickford will present information on all aspects of estate planning for both young and old, including the importance of having a will, health care proxies and advance medical directives. He will discuss trusts and when it makes sense to have one in place, and he will talk about what should go into a trust and what should not.  He will discuss the paralegal's role in assisting the lawyer in estate planning.  If time allows, he will also present information on long term care and Medicaid for the elderly and disabled. There will be time for questions following his presentation.

An experienced speaker, Attorney Bickford is able to weave his personal stories of his legal practice over the past 40 years into a presentation that is sure to enlighten and entertain all attendees of this informal presentation.
