Bio

Attorney Jay Sexton is a partner and co-founder of his law firm Sexton & Company, LLC, wherein he handles special litigation matters, concentrating on appeals that involve civil, criminal, family and child protection issues, special education and disability claims. 

In addition to being an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, including serving on COVID technology subcommittee and as Co-Chair of the Appellate Advocacy Section, Attorney Sexton serves on Judicial Branch’s Access to Justice Commission, as well as the American Bar Association, where he sits on the Council of Appellate Lawyers, and is a member of the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society.
