Sarah Murray is a partner at Broder Orland Murray & DeMattie LLC, with offices in Westport and Greenwich.  Sarah practices exclusively in the area of family law in Connecticut, including both trial and appellate matters.  She represents clients in Fairfield County and throughout Connecticut in matters involving all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including divorce, alimony, child support, custody, and division of assets.  Her work includes the negotiation and drafting of Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements, the litigation of divorce cases, the litigation of complex post-judgment issues, and the handling of family law appellate matters.   

Program Description


Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements can be effective tools for preserving wealth over generations of a family.  Attorney Murray will discuss the current law in Connecticut regarding the enforceability of Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements, as well as considerations when crafting these agreements for the purpose of protecting generational wealth, including family businesses and family trust interests.  She will also discuss effective ways to counsel clients regarding discussions with children about Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements.
