About the Program

This annual event provides YLS members a unique opportunity to meet this year with Rep. Matthew S. Blumenthal, vice chair of the Judiciary Committee, and member of the Transportation and the Government, Administration and Elections Committees. Rep. Blumenthal is also an associate attorney at Koskoff Koskoff and Bieder in Bridgeport. A Marine veteran, Rep. Blumenthal graduated from Yale Law and Harvard University. This is an opportunity to chat about how he balances both the legal work and being a representative. You will hear about issues of importance to young lawyers and professionals in Connecticut. This event will also provide an opportunity to informally discuss both legal and legislative issues facing Connecticut today, as well as your interests in the political process.
