The Connecticut Bar Association, joined by the Danbury, Litchfield, Windham, New Haven and Hartford County Bar Associations, will commemorate Law Day with a virtual Lunch and Learn on Friday, May 7, at 1:00 p.m. This year's theme is: "The Rule of Law, Now." Our keynote speaker, Connecticut Appellate Court Judge Michael Sheldon, will draw on his vast experience in helping to create and foster impartial judicial systems in nations around the world as we celebrate the importance of the Rule of Law as a foundation of American democracy. Our partner bar associations will then present Liberty Bell Awards to honor their colleagues' distinguished contributions to advancing and protecting the Rule of Law.
