Arbitration Discovery Under 28 USC §1782: The Current Circuit Split

Description

We will discuss whether or not 28 USC §1782 allows United States District Courts to order discovery (including depositions) in aid of private international arbitrations. The matter will be before the Supreme Court next year and there is a current split between the circuits (with the second circuit saying "no").
