Program Description

Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) have been in existence for more than 45 years yet, to many, they still are the best kept secret in the tax code. We will explore why ESOPs are in the tax code, how they principally are structured and how they can be a win, win, win….a win for the seller, a win for the company and a win for the employees. We will also review the high level of ESOP activity that we are seeing in the current marketplace and why this is happening.
