ALTA has newly revised policy forms and newly revised commitment forms, as well as some new and revised endorsements. The most significant changes are to the Standard Loan and Owner Policies, and include updates resulting from judicial decisions, the evolving legislative and regulatory environment, as well as comments and suggestions received from ALTA members, lenders, other insureds, state and federal agencies, government sponsored entities and attorneys. While revising these and other ALTA forms was a process that took the better part of a decade to complete, the Presenters for this program will provide you with an explanation of the most important changes in about an hour, and will answer as many questions as you care to ask.
