Program Description

The program will review the three methods of obtaining Identity Protection PINs. If you are encountering systemic issues with the IRS, the Issue Management Resolution System (IMRS) may be of help. We will discuss how to submit systemic issues to the IMRS system and the IMRS process. Also, gain an understanding of the IRS tax practitioner data breach reporting process and measures that can be taken to better protect client tax data.
