Presented by: the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section
About the Program
While many of us hold egalitarian views and values, social science research informs us that we all carry implicit biases that influence our decision-making and relationships. Given this, how does implicit bias impact mediation, and in particular, our role as “the neutral?” Join this interactive virtual workshop on the various ways in which implicit bias impacts us as mediators and how we, as mediators, may respond to implicit bias and stereotyping in the mediation process. Participants will have an opportunity to practice approaching mediation scenarios and exchange experiences.
This webinar will not be recorded.
