Reflections On The Current State Of Antitrust Enforcement At The U.S. DOJ Antitrust Division and the FTC

Speaker

Makan Delrahim
Partner, Latham & Watkins, LLP, and Former Assistant Attorney General, Antitrust Division, United States Department of Justice (2017-2021)

Program Description

Attorney Delrahim, who previously served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the Antitrust Division overseeing International and Appellate (2003–2005), as a Commissioner on the Antitrust Modernization Commission (2004–2007), and as antitrust counsel and later as Staff Director and Chief Counsel of the US Senate Judiciary Committee (2000–2003), possesses a truly comprehensive knowledge of both substantive antitrust law and international and U.S. competition policy. Attorney Delrahim has agreed to share with us his views on the antitrust enforcement initiatives of the current administration, some of which are quite controversial, at both the Antitrust Division and the FTC. This is an event not to be missed.
