About the Program
This program is part of the YLS 22/23 Bridge the Gap series. Assistant State’s Attorney Sara E. Greene and private counselor Jonathan Aubin provide an introduction to the practice of criminal law in Connecticut state courts, including , a discussion of what happens at arraignments and plea hearings, making applications to diversionary programs, and the various players and their roles in the criminal justice system.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for transitional and non-transitional CLE credits. Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, or a fully interactive videoconference. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits. If the seminar is recorded, all member registrants will receive complimentary access to the recording approximately six weeks after the program.
