Program Description

Commissioner Cafferelli will discuss the many statutory responsibilities of the agency, including the administration of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act, as well as recent additions to the responsibilities of the agency, such as on-line gaming, medical marijuana, and adult (recreational) cannabis. The agency's authority also extends to the regulation of the Connecticut Lottery, food, liquor, controlled substances, product safety, weight and measures, and occupational licensing.
