Insurance Issues for Litigators

Speaker

Michael T. McCormack, Shareholder, O’Sullivan, McCormack, Jensen & Bliss, PC

Program Description

Join us at our New Member Section Social for an evening of (in-person!) networking, CLE, and good food. Please be sure to welcome our Spring test-drive-a-section members. If you've been on the fence about getting more involved in the Section, this is a great chance to see what we're all about.

During dinner we're fortunate to have Attorney Michael T. McCormack speaking on "Insurance Issues for Litigators."

"It’s insurance’s world and we’re just living in it. For those who do not practice primarily in insurance coverage law, insurance often still drives settlement value and can shape how a case is litigated. A keen understanding of how, and what to look for, gives you leverage and a leg up. Whether your opponent’s insurer is defending them under a reservation of rights, or your client is unsure if one of their insurance policies covers the lawsuit against them you’re litigating, or you are an attorney appointed by an insurance carrier, etc., this program will equip you with the knowledge you need to navigate the insurance aspects of your client’s case. Designed for both experienced practitioners and newer attorneys, this seminar will help you get your client the most value out of your next case."

Looking forward to seeing everyone after the winter break!
