Presented by Stuart Johnson, Chair, CBA Standing Committee on Professional Ethics
Stuart Johnson is a partner at Danaher Lagnese PC in the Hartford office. He attended law school at Northeastern University School of law and is admitted to practice in CT and MA. In his practice, Stuart defends health care professionals, healthcare institutions, lawyers, and other professionals in malpractice matters. Stuart also advises lawyers and law firms on legal ethics issues and he defends lawyers in disciplinary matters.
In addition to his professional liability practice, Stuart litigates a wide range of business disputes including employment disputes, and maintains an active construction law practice. Stuart also represents insurers and policyholders in coverage matters. He handles civil appeals and regularly argues cases at the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts.
Mr. Johnson is a past President of the Connecticut Defense Lawyer’s Association. He has been a member of the CBA Standing Committee on Professional ethics for 16 years, serving 3 years as its Second Vice Chair. This year is Stuart’s first year chairing the Committee, and he’s here to tell us a bit about the committee and how it operates.
