Program Description

This presentation will introduce the tools and thought processes an attorney would bring to bear in advising a client considering charitable planning, including the factors that determine the tax impacts of a charitable transfer, and introduce basic strategies and considerations for maximizing that impact.  We will review the provisions of the code that classify tax exempt organizations and determine the deductibility of transfers to each one, and apply these to practical client scenarios.
