Program Description

The US Department of Education issued revised regulations implementing Title IX that went into effect on August 1, 2024.  In this session, you will learn an overview of those new regulations, including changes to what conduct schools have jurisdiction over, the expanded definitions of sex discrimination including sex-based harassment and the Title IX grievance procedures. This session will also cover the recent Title IX Court decisions challenging the regulations, and exactly who is affected by these challenges.
