Presented by the Appellate Advocacy Section
About the Program
This popular one-and-a-half day legal analysis and oral argument program is designed to develop and sharpen your appellate advocacy skills in a supportive learning environment. You will be asked to perform as appellate counsel, in a mooting session, and in an oral argument to judges and justices of the Supreme and Appellate Courts. Each time you present, members of the faculty will provide guidance, instruction, and tips on how you can be more effective.
The Appellate Advocacy Section encourages attorneys from all backgrounds and practice areas to participate in 2024 Appellate Advocacy Institute.
Please register early. Due to the extensive preparation that participants will need to perform to effectively engage in this institute,
registration will close on November 18, 2024. There will be
no walk-in registrations.
