Program Description

The speaker will provide an overview of what business lawyers should know about intellectual property, including: patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, and non-disclosure agreements. The differences between patents, trademark and copyrights will be discussed. The differences between “use in commerce” and “intent to use” trademark applications will also be explored. Also, some recent intellectual property court decisions will be discussed.
