How to Avoid a Re-trade (True Pain in M&A)

Speaker

Michael Carter, Carter Morse & Goodrich

Program Description

There is nothing worse than a buyer doing a ‘bait and switch’ and trying to renegotiate the purchase price and other terms of the deal, shortly before the closing, after months of due diligence during an exclusivity period.   So often, these situations could have either been avoided or mitigated if the proper steps had been taken.  Attendees will learn the early warning signs to watch for and a proven playbook to minimize the risk of re-trades.
