About the Program

The panelists will discuss the eight state privacy laws that go into effect in 2025. As of January 1, 2025, four of the eight new privacy laws have gone into effect bringing the total number of state privacy laws in effect as of January 1, 2025, to 12, with the remaining four privacy laws going into effect in 2025, between January 15, 2025, and October 1, 2025. Attendees will learn about each law’s applicability, key exemptions, and other notable concepts.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
